MEOWS Alarm

The Modified Early Obstetric Warning System (MEOWS) is a bedside "track and trigger" tool used in obstetrics to identify early signs of clinical deterioration in pregnant or postpartum women, allowing for timely intervention to prevent severe morbidity or mortality. It was recommended by the Confidential Enquiry into Maternal and Child Health (CEMACH) to address failures in recognizing deteriorating conditions.
